Bridal Tea Luncheon

A Bridal luncheon is a time to slow down a bit from the hectic hours before the wedding and for the bride to acknowledge her bridesmaids. The luncheon is an appropriate time for the bride to present her gifts to her bridemaids. Often the luncheon tea is hosted by the bride and or her mother. The bride or her mother may designate a member of the bridal party to attend to the details of the Tea.

Lady Millicent will meet with the party host to customize the details for this special time. Setting the tea table with the wedding colors is a small detail which many brides appreciate.

Bridal Shower

Surprise!
Many times a traditional bridal shower is not appropriate, so why not plan a special Tea Time as a surprise. All bridal showers are customized to appropriately conform to the wishes of the host. A few suggestions are: Lady Millicent to tell the story of tea; origin and types of teas, and a traditional Tea Tasting. Perhaps each guest could bring a special tea cup and saucer to start the bride on a collection of her own.

Tea tasting is a science and art all it’s own. Creat your own special tasting party. You will experience the “cupping of tea”, a term tea tasters use in tasting and determining a tea’s value.
